Guitarist in The Allman Brothers Band (since 1999) & founder/guitarist of the Derek Trucks band (at age 15). In 2006 toured with Eric Clapton. Clapton has stated that Trucks is the only slide guitar player that reminds him of Duane Allman. Derek comes from a musical family.
